South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB)
The ICB works with its partners in the four Places (Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield) to understand and meet the local health and care of people in each of those areas.
By focusing on local communities and the services, care and wellbeing needed by the people who live in them, the ICB can support everyone to be healthier. They want to make the most of the skills of local people, communities and organisations to support people to lead healthier lives and care for themselves and each other.
Each area has been allocated NHS funds, which are spent on improving people’s health by ensuring that we deliver joined-up services, through local decision-making arrangements.
The ICB's priorities are set out in our Joint Forward Plan, which you can read here (EXTERNAL LINK)
