- Covid Vaccinations - All patients wishing to have the Covid-19 vaccine will now need to either ring 199 or visit the following website: www.nhs.uk to make an appointment
- Travel Vaccinations - It is important to make the initial appointment as early as possible for advice on what it needed, at least 6 weeks before you travel as these vaccines are not stock vaccines and are ordered in for patients
- Non NHS Services - some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include insurance claim forms, fostering medicals, private sick notes, vaccination certificates, letters etc.
- Social Prescribing (Link Works)
- Tele-Dermatology Service - photo's can be taken of the skin problem and sent electronically to Dermatology Consultants at the hospital who review them and advise the practice on the best course of action.
- Sound Doctor - this is a film library for all patients within Barnsley for various conditions such as Diabetes, Heart Failure, COPD, Dementia, Back Pain and Weight Management Surgery. To access the films patients only have to email: info@thesounddoctor.org and say which GP practice they are registered with. They are then sent a link to create a username and password and have access to the film library.

Your local Social Prescribers will contact you and spend time with you exploring what activities and/or local support could improve your health and well-being.
